You should have shown the drops before you added emboss to em, its not everytime you want that effect ;)

Well, they look... exactly the same, without any highlights. It's just the shape, basically. I could make another set that IS embossed, for those that don't care about light sources. Would you be interested in that?

I specifically made these to be blood (or some kind of liquid) drops, and if you're using Photoshop... adding an emboss layer is about as easy as breathing. But I could make a second set if you'd like. Just say so, and I'll put it up on my site for you and any others that may want them already embossed. :)

Nah thanks, Im allright, but good brush set! good job ;)

a little shiny and such for my taste, but they may prove useful. :)

they dont look real :S

Sorry that you don't think so! Like I stated, I used a VERY simple "emboss layer" affect in Photoshop to them. The shapes themselves are very 2D - just basically the shapes. I may perhaps do another set that has the same kind of thing with more realistic affects actually built into the brushes, based on the popularity of this set. Perhaps you'll enjoy those, whenever I get around to them. ;)
:iconredheadstock:
The actual brushes don't have any of that shinyness, or shouldn't. I added an emboss layer, just to show what could be done with them - and allowing each person to add their own affects to them, as well as the proper source of light.

I think I'll be doing another set once I get set back up on my own computer in our new house (a few weeks, if all goes well!) - and that one will be more 3d. I have a feeling not everyone read the explanation on these and downloaded them thinking they were more 3d than they are. So perhaps a second set that actually IS 3d would be a good thing, eh?

Thanks, and hope you're enjoyin' em. :)
