I have GIMP, and I just downloaded them from the guys who GIMP-ify all ur brushes. When I use these (and ur jewels) they're see-through, even though I have the opacity all the way up. They don't look "solid" and real. I know I have them in the right folder, otherwise they wouldn't be in my brush dialog. What's going wrong? I have version 2.6.

I am so struggling with hair right now. I've done it three times and it just keeps coming out looking like yarn. So frustrated. I would very much like to use your brushes to hopefully save my granddaughter from a disaster portrait. Please? Know it is creative commons but still I like to ask.

But swim in my sea
Catch the pearl in me
